The University of Strathclyde is a unique place of expertise when it comes to children and young people. Join us for an inspiring showcase event celebrating the innovative work across our faculties - work which is placing the rights and well-being of children and young people at its heart.

Technology & Innovation Centre
99 George Street
Glasgow G1 1RD
Event Timeline
Registration from 4.00pm
Programme begins 4.30pm
Drinks reception from 6.00pm
At this special event, colleagues from the University are welcomed to join colleagues from public services, practitioners, policymakers, children’s organisations, funders, children and young people, and the wider community of which the University is part. If you share an interest and passion about brilliant work being done with and for children and young people, and want to hear more, or share ideas and collaborate to further children’s rights – sign up now!
There will be a chance to network and hear from researchers, practitioners, students and children and young people themselves about Strathclyde’s impactful efforts close to home within the Glasgow Innovation District, and farther away shaping our national and global contributions to the Sustainable Development Agenda around the world. There will also be an opportunity to reflect on what this work means for the communities and services whose day-to-day work focusses on furthering children’s rights and well-being. By meeting together at this special event, we also hope to identify new opportunities to grow, develop and collaborate.
So, whether your interest in children and young people is in voice, participation, play, justice, inclusion, digital connectivity, health, education – or anything in between - please do join us at this most special showcase event to inspire and be inspired!
Registration here: Closes Thursday, May 8th.
