Justice for Children, Justice for All SDG16+

We’re working with key partners to place children at the heart of the global movement for justice.

The Justice for Children, Justice for All SDG 16+ Project offers a new starting point to realise UN Sustainable Development Goal 16: Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.

The international, multi-agency Working Group on SDG16+ Justice for Children has a strategic vision that actively puts children and children’s human rights at the centre of achieving justice for all to achieve SDG 16.3: Promote the rule of law at the national and international levels and ensure equal access to justice for all. The Working Group on SDG 16+ Justice for Children is a member of the Justice Action Coalition. It is hosted by the Institute for Inspiring Children’s Futures at the University of Strathclyde with support from the Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies.

It includes Terre des hommes (with the Global Initiative on Justice With Children and the World Congress on Justice With Children), the Office of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General on Violence against Children, the Legal Empowerment Fund, Defence for Children International, and Child Friendly Justice European Network.
