Inspiring Children’s Futures Completes Phase 1 of the COVID 4P Log

The Institute for Inspiring Children’s Futures is pleased to announce the completion of Phase 1 of the COVID 4P Log.

Together, we can inform a global understanding of the necessary policies and practices for children’s wellbeing in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic. In Phase 1 of the COVID 4P Log, policymakers and practitioners from around the world, working to support children’s wellbeing, came together in a smartphone app to better understand the ways we can protect children, provide for their unique needs, enable their participation in decisions that affect them, and prevent harm, at different stages of the current pandemic.

During Phase 1, the COVID 4P Log collected over 3300 responses from over 200 respondents in 30 countries shared their reflections, innovations and best practices working with and for children’s wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Phase 1 of the COVID 4P Log is now complete.

The collected data will be used to better our understanding, informing thematic Learning Reports to support and better prepare policymakers and practitioners to respond to children’s rights, needs and opportunities, in future stages of this pandemic, and in the event of future pandemics.
