The Inspiring Children’s Futures Doctoral Research Centre works to generate the evidence needed for recovery that delivers on children’s rights and wellbeing in the COVID Era. We have recruited fully funded, globally minded PhD students to explore innovative ways to best ensure children’s rights and wellbeing.
Justice for Children, Justice for All Global Initiative
The Justice for Children, Justice for All Project offers a new starting point to place children at the heart of an emerging global movement for justice. The Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies have commissioned Prof Jennifer Davidson, Executive Director of Inspiring Children's Futures to lead a Justice for Children, Justice for All global initiative to help realise UN Sustainable Development Goal SDG 16.3
The COVID 4P Log for Children’s Wellbeing
Throughout 2020, we developed the COVID 4P Log study, a smartphone app which explored providers’ and policymakers’ reflections about working through the COVID-19 pandemic, in partnership with 17 international Key Partners. We’re developing new publications to share the findings, and working with young people as part of the #COVIDUnder19 initiative to help inform a global understanding of policies and practices to support children’s wellbeing.
COVID Learning Report: Supporting Children’s Wellbeing During COVID-19
This first Learning Report – with results drawn from 932 responses by 232 respondents in 22 countries – provides an overview of the findings related to successes in supporting children’s wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic, challenges to service provision and their impact on children and families, and lessons learned and recommended actions for improving outcomes for children.

The Global DCI Survey
For our first blog post, we turned to our Key Partner, Defence for Children International, and asked them to introduce some of the amazing work they have done in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
